Intune for the ConfigMgr Admin

When I first started learning how to do things with Intune, I struggled trying to turn off the Configuration Manager Admin part of my brain. I used to tell myself that this is something new and it operates differently from Configuration Manager. Ultimately this just led to so much frustration and help contribute to me walking away from it back in 2020.

In 2021 I decided to try again, but this time I took the approach of starting with matching up how I would do things in Configuration Manager with how they would be done with Intune. Keeping an open mind does not mean ignoring what you already know.

So, what I will attempt to do here is line up the fundamentals of Intune with the familiar in Configuration Manager. Hopefully this will help with learning the foundation pieces of Intune that will later be leveraged to perform various tasks.
